Wrap your hands around a mug of this warming brew.
•1 cup plain unsweetened oat milk, cashew milk, or other milk of choice
•1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
•1 tablespoon brown sugar (add more for extra sweetness)
•1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
•A pinch each of nutmeg and cloves
•A pinch of salt
•1/4 teaspoon vanilla
Heat the milk in a small saucepan over medium heat until it steams, but don’t let it boil.
Whisk in the cocoa powder, brown sugar, spices, and salt until combined. Reduce heat to low; continue stirring gently until mixture is smooth and creamy, and reaches your desired temperature.
Stir in vanilla, pour into a favorite mug, and enjoy!
